The story

The story, exploring the vulnerability of teenage boys to roughness and anguish, the struggles of have-nots in a world of have-its, the trepidations and confusions of being young, rivalry, teen angst, and, of course, romance, exploded onto the stage in 2023, and opened at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on Broadway in 2024.

Its unique blending of sound, special effects, movement, boundless story, and incredible cast exhibiting the talents of mostly debutantes, oozed with that x-factor only a new creation can bring and blew audiences from all walks of life away. 'The Outsiders' landed four Tony Awards, an Outer Critics Circle Award, two Drama Desk Awards, a Theatre World Award, as well as a Chita Rivera Award. Now, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical is embarking on its highly anticipated North American National Tour, bringing this raw and powerful production to audiences across the continent.

If you're a fan, you'll remember Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade, and the lot, the violence between the two rival gangs and working-class 'Greasers' and the upper-middle-class 'Socs' in 1960s Tulsa. If not, you'll meet them soon enough, and you'll fall in love. In this tour, Nolan White brings Ponyboy Curtis to life in his national tour debut, while Bonale Fambrini delivers a powerful performance as Johnny Cade.

Not only is 'The Outsiders' peppered with memorable 60s-sounding show tunes tinged with folk and pop-country influences delivered with great musical prowess, but also boasts incredible fight scenes, powerful visual imagery, creative choices that will blow your mind, a wonderfully designed gritty warehouse-like set, and production value that can challenge any of the Broadway greats. With a runtime of approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes including intermission, the show delivers an unforgettable theatrical experience from start to finish.
