Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Live In Concert will showcase the original movie on an HD screen, accompanied by a DJ, percussion, and a live orchestra called “The Broadway Sinfonietta.” This orchestra is an all-women and mostly women-of-color production organization founded in 2020 that has been quickly gaining prominence in the industry. They have already performed for big music names such as Jordin Sparks and performed at the most recent 2023 Tony Awards. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is their latest and probably biggest tour project to date.
The score featured in the film is composed by the Emmy winner Daniel Pemberton and is complimented by song contributions from hot artists Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Jaden Smith, and Nicki Minaj. The live in concert will immerse you in the sonic universe throughout the fabric of the film.
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is one of the most successful animated films of all time and was the first animated feature film of the Spider-Man franchise. This movie starts with the standard origin story of every Spider-Man: a teenager gets bitten by a radioactive spider, giving them superpower abilities. But instead of it happening to a kid named Peter Parker, it happens to a kid from Brooklyn, NYC, called Miles Morales. After meeting the original Peter Parker, Miles realizes that there are people that have powers like him from multiple universes who are all trying to fight off evil.
